Tired of getting my butt kicked here in Cali, I think The Boys at Shirley Fabrications make the best well cookers in the country. Lately been looking at the Yoder YS640, Tired of my traeger I own 4, 22" WSM's. If I went the Pellet route for the time being any suggestions? Thank's

If you've got a taste to own a Shirley that might be a tough spot, not much else out there to scratch that itch.

The good news is if you get one big enough, it can take you out of the game for good there's nothing left to covet in the cooker world once you get that parked at home.

I give mine a pat most nights when I drag the kettle by it out the door to dump some charcoal in it, I have a few nice pellet units from different manufacturer's but I still like the taste and texture of just about everything cooked with charcoal on the kettle far better than pellets.

You won't miss the money if you get in line at Shirley Fab, worth every penny. Get a decent vac sealer machine and your freezer's full of brisket, pulled pork, turkey etc. every time you fire it up you can eat all month off one cook.

IMNSHO, the Cookshack PG1000 is the best pellet smoker/chargriller on the planet.
