Good morning Brothers and Sisters!!

Had our parents over for dinner last night. Put on 3 racks of BBs, 3 chuckies, 3 fatties and a 5 lb. pork butt.
Cooked up a tomato pie, some corn on the cob and slaw.
The chuckies were not as tender as in the past, but still tasted good.

Here are the pics... Rick's pics put these to shame but hey - you do what you can

Am going to try the fried corn with the left over corn.....

Got this recipe from a friend and it has become a summer staple at our house when the tomatos come in.

Tomato Pie

1 pie shell
Diced and drained tomatos
Fresh Basil
1 cup mayo
1 cup shreaded cheese

Cook and cool pie shell.
Dice up the tomatos and let them drain well
chop up the basil and mix in the tomatos
Dump in the pie shell
combine the mayo and cheese and put on top of the tomatos.
Put into a 350 degree oven till the cheese mixture is bubbly.
I use a chedder/jack mix but your favorite cheese will do.
