Default Finally...Thanks Uncle Sam!

I have been wanting to pick up a WSM 22.5 for awhile now and thanks to my tax refund, yesterday I was finally able to purchase one.

Picked up at Lowes and brought home ready to assemble.

Everything out of the box.

Got the base all set up

Halfway there

All set up, could'nt believe how easy it was to assemble. If Darth Vader & R2D2 had a child, I imagine it would look just like this

Here I am with my new toy.

All covered up and resting before tomorrows "seasoning".

Woke up this morning and rubbed the inside down with some bacon grease and fired her up. Tomorrow will be my 1st cook, going to break her in with a butt & some ribs. Thanks for looking!

I'm glad somebody is getting to play with their money from Uncle Sam. We had all kinds of plans to play with ours, but this week my 2004 Ford "powerbroke" decided to blow the headgasket and EGR. So there went all the fun.

Still waiting to do my taxes but hopefully Uncle Sugar is gonna be as nice to me as the rest of y'all.

You're gonna have a lotta fun with that WSM!

Shoot I didn't even file last years yet! Better get on it. Funny how we all get WSMs and build them in the living quarters of our homes.
