Default 120 Gallon Compressor Tank,Trailer Mounted, Offset Smoker Build - by Huntin Smoke & Pappy (pics) UPDATED

Here is our 120 Gallon Compressor Tank, offset smoker build. We will post mostly pics as the build moves along.

$75 Craigslist - 120 Gallon compressor tank




Free 4'x6' Trailer


Remove compressor motor mount


Remove tank feet


Grind off old welds with flap sanding wheel


Weld tilt trailer - no more tilt

Fill in over cuts with weld & sand smooth




Layout smoker door locations




5'x10' Plate steel for insulated fire box $50 on Craigslist


Built our hinges from plate steel






Cut out 1st door & weld on edge straps




Weld on homemade hinges










Weld on stay-cool spring handle (homemade brackets)


One door finished!

I got the other set of hinges finished tonight and if I can work it out I am hoping to weld them on tomorrow night after work.
