Default East Kentucky bbq places?

I am late getting this out, as right now we are on the way and will be in Ashland KY tomorrow evening. Looking for recommendations to try, somewhere close. Looked online at names, but I wanted opinions here.

I found this place. Was told by hotel staff that they are new; maybe three months or so?

Sunday night, food was good. Ordered the 3 meat platter with pork, jalapeno sausage and spares (3) were offered, wings for wife, bbq nachos for the kids, pretzels with beer cheese. Pork was moist. Had a moderate smoke. Sausage was a large piece, very cheesy and good flavor. They gave me baby backs instead of spares. They were overcooked, but had sauce and overall, good flavor. Sides I got were collards and were good and broccoli salad was decent. The chicken on the nachos was tasty, but I am far from a bbq nachos enthusiast by any means. Beer cheese and pretzel was good, with a good amount of flavor, and inspite if the fact that you could taste the beer well, my wife liked it (she doesnt appreciate beer flavor). They did not send any sauce, and I didnt ask, but the bbq sauce that was on the nachos was good. Their menu has a few interesting looking items that I would try if I was close by.

Overall, after one visit, I would rank them 6 out of 10 for bbq. Better than average, but maybe on a better day, a little higher. It is worth checking out!
