Default Newby from IA!

Just bought my first stickburner to go along with all my other toys! Found a gently used Pits By Klose 2042! Pretty excited and have no clue how to use it yet...Gonna need to wire brush her down and then repaint the outside and clean the inside also. Has some slight rust, but other than that she’s in perfect shape!!!

Thanks! I’ve been on the forum for a while, mainly on the for sale page waiting to find me a good deal. Just didn’t feel right to post yet until I got me a stickburner, lol. Have used a Traeger and a Kamado for a few years and wanted to try the traditional way.

By the way, awesome looking burgers on your blog! I actually make a double patty, one Italian sausage and one ground chuck when I grilled for the bar.

Welcome Troy and congratulations on the new cooker, it won't take you long to get her in shape and dialed in.

Thank you! I’m hoping to get her all cleaned up this Friday and Saturday and to start a fire in her on Sunday! Not as worried if I don’t have it painted before my first fire...just wanna try it out!
