Has anyone use The BBQ Guru, a temperature control and monitor for charcoal and wood grills/pits, on the Bandera?

I don't know how well it would work on the Bandera. I would think a good charcoal basket is better suited. I've seen it sold primarily as a complement to the Green Egg.

Sorry, addressed that in a private post to a few brothers.

Had mom issues, had wife issues, had daughter issues, and I had more issues.

In essence, I had issues

He was bleeding.

Back on Topic. I have seen the guru in action and it is a pretty cool toy. Exteends the hours of sleep available to the WSM.

To get any real benefit from it, yes you would need a charcoal basket or at least burn in that manner.
