Ok Here goes my Favorite recipe for summer drinks for a PARTY..

We call it HARRY BUFFALO

Warning 2 or 3 of these and you won't care about your temp of your smoker!

Unit of Measure is 1 Coffee cup each.

1 CC of Vodka
1 CC of Rum
1 CC of Whiskey
1 CC or Gin
1 CC of Tequila
1 CC of Brandy
1 CC of Everclear just to make sure it's really potent.

2 Gals of HI C or Fruit Punch your choice
2 Liters of 7 up
and Fruit's of your choice!

Mix the day ahead of time and let your fruit absorb the alcohol! Drink what you want but only eat the fruit if you really wanna have a good time! If your cheap bar rail if you like your friends use top shelf!

If I'm drinking by myself it's normally Early Time's and Sun Drop !

Hendrix Gin and Tonic with a Cucumber - I know, I know but just try it.

1/3 Makers and 2/3 very slightly sweet tea with slice of lemon. Didn't believe it myself but now I am. Great way to use up the bourbon so I can start drinking rum.

Last but least - Dark and Stormy - 1/2 Black Seal Rum and 1/2 Ginger Ale. If you like it hot replace Ginger Ale with Ginger Beer.

A Gin-Gin Mule. Delicious. Brings "I can't taste a thing!" and "Thank you, may I have another!" to mind.

3/4 ounce lime juice
1 ounce simple syrup
8 to 10 mint leaves, chopped
2 ounces ginger beer ( the good spicy stuff )
2 oz. gin

Muddle the lime juice, simple syrup, and mint leaves together. Add ginger beer and gin. Shake well. Pour into a tall glass filled with ice. Enjoy.

Limoncello is always refreshing; good straight from the freezer or splashed into a tart juice like cranberry, or to kick up an iced tea. You can buy it commercially bottled, but the best is homemade. Great to sit and sip after dinner.

You can make it in less time than the recipe calls for by using more lemons, but consider making a batch that you can steep the lemons for at least a month. And use the Everclear, (grain alcohol) it makes a better finished product. If you can't get Everclear, cheap vodka is fine. There's still plenty of hot weather coming...

Here's a link to my favorite recipe. My sister feels that this is closest to the limoncello she enjoyed on her trip to Italy last year.

Cheers,

Chris

My lady likes my Jacked Up Apple Pie. Mix 5 parts apple juice, 1 part Jack Daniels, and just enough Hot Damn to give it a good pie flavor. I make it by the gallon. Doesn't last long at parties.

I was recently introduced to Jack Daniels' new Tennessee Honey. Straight over ice, it's great. Throw in a little fresh mint (which was growing wild in my buddy's backyard at the time), and it's amazing.
If knocking back a few glasses of 70 proof seems a bit much, feel free to mix it with club soda.
Or not.
