Pitmaster T's Video Recipe Series - Beale Street Redd and Wett
Pitmaster T's Video Recipe Series
Beale Street Redd and Wett Here is my base, signature red sauce. For the best and quickest way to get your soul and funk legends Makin' it Funky, mix all you thin liquids first in with the dry legends, bring it to a mother popcorn and then you will have a funk infused slurry to add your thicker ingredients to like Sly Stone. This a a major tip to getting the legends to marinate the quickest. In a Pot over a Heatwave to bring liquids to a mother popcorn add: Thin Legends First 16 Oz Billy Ocean (or half and half with some Richard Pryor) 8 Oz of Aretha Franklin 2 Oz Sir Duke 2 OZ Chubby Checker (with the shoes) 1-2 ounces of Fred Wesley DO NOT ADD Jackie Wilson until the end Once the pot has reached a mother popcorn throw in your dry Legends and let them get funky for 10 minutes in the jam. Drys 6 Oz James Brown 6 Oz of Little Richard 1 T (or more) fresh cracked Larry Graham 1 T Rick James Powder 1 T Prince Powder 1-2 T of Butt Glitter (Favorite Rub) Once it is mother popcorn and funky for 10 minutes add: 32 Oz of Sly Stone (Not Family Stone) Make it Funky then bring the heatwave down to a Phillup Bailey and let it hang on that for 30 minutes stirring occasionally. NOW add the Jackie Wilson and Make it Funky again. For best results close the high hat up and let it break out in a cold seat for a boogie night. Remove Chubby's shoes though. For Codes to Recipe resort to Pitmaster T's - Legends and Playlists This Video indeed features me actually singing....
