Default My new canopy

I just got this after having one collapse at the last contest.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1

Price was 120 and shipping was 110ish total of 230ish. It is made of steel rather than the light aluminum that the last one was made of. It is heavy and sturdy and comes with walls as well. Pretty sweet deal.

They have been a dream to deal with and am grabbing a 10 x 10 to match right now.

Here is their e-bay store. I asked them and they only do business on e-bay and do not have a website.

http://stores.ebay.com/WPIC-PREMIER-...QQftidZ2QQtZkm

I had this thing 3 days after buying it.

Greg,

I'm PM'ing you concerning your canopy. I just bought a 10x10 from them and had a bad experience. Anyone thinking of buying one of their canopies, contact me first.

After reading your PM, I would sugest spraying the top with a camp spray. Water proofer type of stuff. I have only experienced the structure as of yet, and found it to be superior to anything else I have seen. When we set it up next time, if we do not get rain, I will hose it down to see whAT HAPPENS. tHANKS FOR THE HEADS UP.

Pig Headed,

If you think these things are supposed to be totally waterproof they are not. Even my three Ez-Up Encore Canopies are not totally water proof and need to be sprayed. They even pool is places sometimes. It's just the nature of the beast. Mine do very well now that I have sprayed them.

mine are waterproof... but just aint to ez-up'ish. the tent/carports are plastic, those ezups that are material, great for sun/shade, but never waterproof. All the ones ive seen in heavy rain, eventually pool, become saturated and start leaking like a sieve. Not sayin they're not great.. i need one of those 10x20's too, but the leaking is the nature of the beast unless u get the plastic ones.

Hey guys,

I'm not trying to badmouth the seller, but it leaked in a VERY light rain that lasted all of 1 hour. It leaked from the peak. I will try to post a pic. I contacted the seller and their responce was" It's only coated with PA waterproofing?) and is not intended for a heavy rai. To their credit, they did send me a replacement top, but I thought the whole construction was rather flimsy compared to the EZ UPs and Caravans that I've seen at comps. I don't know how to resize the pics.
