GL score and New guy here
I have been following this site for some time now. And feel like I know you all just from the great threads. So here is my GL score from last night and some past year cooking pron, just because I have never posted before. Found this smoker on a trailor for $300

Not sure the guy would like me trying to Kiss him, lol but I sure felt like it. I love this site and will gladly flood it with more pics when I can. Have learned a lot from this site and it helped me win a small comp last year with my pulled pork.

Great score on the trailer and some nice cooks.
BTW, whats with the briquets in the bottom of your vertical? My 1st thought was "ceramic briquets used instead of fire bricks." I wonder how well they would work?

That vertical was another GL find, they are lava rocks, I guess the last owner thought they would help hold the heat in better? That Brinkman vert is really leaky and it has a really bad host spot right off of the fire box. It just got replaced last night so it is back on Gl :)
