Default Warming box?

Just got a 1940's fridge given to me. Was thinking a cold smoker or a sausage fermenter but now I am thinking it would make a sweet warming box on top of my firebox on my trailer build this winter. Am I crazy?

My trailer rig has warming box/vertical smoking chamber and I have to say I cook in it, I keep foiled and cooked foods in a cooler with towels,so I dont have the best advice on the warming chamber. But for cold beer or a kegerator I vote thumbs up on that if it works
