The 9th Hudson Valley RibFest takes place on August 17 & 18 at the Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz NY.

Saturday 8/17 is the NEBS Grilling Contest

Categories are still TBD. Apples are definitely back.
Let me know what you would like and I'll pick what most teams want.

Sunday 8/18 is the KCBS BBQ Contest

Pork Butt / Shoulder
Beef Brisket

Latest Update.

This year we are having the 2013 RibFest Country Kick-off Concert on Friday night.
Gates will open to the public at 5 PM on Friday 8/16 with the concert starting at 7 PM, ending at 10:30 PM.
The contest area will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC ON FRIDAY EVENING so there will be no interference with teams arriving. For more concert info visit http://www.hudsonvalleyribfest.org/ to get the details.
Performing artists will be Phil Vassar, Chris Janson and Samantha Landrum. If you’re into Country Music, come early and enjoy the show after you check in.

We have just over 20 spots left for teams to sign up.

The Hudson Valley RibFest is one of five contest this year that will get FREE charcoal from Kingsford.

Other then the flies.. my favorite contest of year. Great event for families. We actually stay the week after at a nice campground up there. You also have the Hudson valley distillery up there. Awesome bourbon. Nice people run the event. People who actually are usually smiling.
