anyone doing the Foggy Bottom BBQ Bash in Elba?

this will be my first real competetion, although I'm just in the backyard division.

Ordered some team shirts this morning.
Sent in my application and fee this afternoon.
Will practice my first brisket this weekend.
(wonder if I got my priorities straight?)

I'll be using drums to cook on.

Not expecting much from the outcome except for a real fun time with the kids.

Yeah, I'll be there. Don't have any idea who else will be there. Should be a LOT cooler than last year.

Swing on by if you like on Friday or after turn-ins on Saturday. I should have a cold one standing by.

we will be there...to answer your questions about priorities - Team shirts were never on the top of my list when we started out, but my priorities are a little different than most.

Seriously,if your #1 priority is to have a good time, you should do just fine! We try to be competitive but still have fun in the process! I think you will find that most any team there will be more than happy to lend a hand and offer advice.
