Default Fast Eddy by Cookshack smokers.

Any brethren on here use a FEC for catering or have one on their concession/vending trailer? I've been researching these smokers for my concession trailer, they seem more economical because they use pellets. Just don't know if the BBQ that comes off is as tasty as say an offset or SP/OH? I also wouldn't have to get a trailer with a porch on it, but I also think the smoker on the back of the trailer is a cool sight for the overall experience. Thanks for looking.

Several of the competitors I know out here use FEC's for comp and catering, and put out a consistently good product. But i agree, a stick burner puffing away draws the public in every time.

I road vend BBQ and cater and have both cookers. I have a Lang 84 that I keep on site and cook chicken, hot dogs and finish the ribs started on the FE. My stand is open from 11-3:30 Tuesday to Friday. I start 1/6th of a chuck roll @ 5, butts go on at 8 and ribs on at 5

The Lang is to Show and the FE is the cooking beast.

Where is your stand Rich? I'll make a point of driving up to test the FE products

Edit. Never mind. I found it with a google search.
