I know that some of the Brethren are competing this weekend. I was hoping to make it to Libertyville to meet some of ya, but that fell through for me.
However, where ever you are competing - I offer you best wishes - and if you are "the prayin' type" I offer the following prayer. If you're not - don't feel the need to read it!
Dear Lord, the Giver of all that is good, I ask you to bless the members of the Brethren that are competing this week - that they would perform their best and that the judges would recognized their efforts. Keep them safe in their travels and their time on site. Grant them joy and happiness as they work hard to perfect their work. Whatever the outcome, O Lord, grant them peace and a good spirit. Amen.
