I've had steak and venison done on the salt lock and both were great. I need to pick one up some time. They should last for quite a while as long as they are cared for properly.

and also, thanks ross. i just went out and bought some fresh salmon and some tuna to grill tonight! inspired. now all i need is a salt block!

Thanks for that link. You too, are always putting up a thread full of great food, and maybe better: great technique. You ought to have your own cooking show.
