I'm doing some this year as gifts for friends and family for the first time, but we'll be hand delivering it.
I would imagine a heavy-duty styro-cooler with dry ice would do the trick...similar to what Omaha steaks use?

I sent my mom a Q care package for Christmas a couple of years ago.
All of the food was foodsavered(?) and frozen. I bought a Polar Bear Cooler (they are great!) for her as well, with her name on it, and I packed the food and frozen sheets of Techni-Ice and sent it via FedEx. Everything arrived rock solid frozen, and I was back on the "nice" list.

I make home-grown smoke-dried spices that I give to friends and family. Different kinds of chile peppers (not mixed) and also a mix of home-grown smoke-dried chives, garlic tops and sage.

We usually give out a bottle of wine to our neighbors. I sneak out early on Christmas Eve or day and leave a bottle on their porch. Then later that day or the next we find things like fudge, brownies, you name on our porch in return. It's become a little tradition. Since I'll have some time off, I'll probably include some tamales or hopefully this year a little something different......brisket along with the wine. I've never shipped long distance, but it seems like ^^^^ got you covered there. Can't beat Q for a gift in my book.

I was thinking of doing it this year.......
Thought I would load up one of the BWS with racks of ribs, smoke them and cryovac them and give them to friends and family........... It would be even nicer if it snowed while they cooked! Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas! Yours in BBQ, Cliff

I am giving some meat products this year but not Q.
I made a batch of apple & sage breakfast links, 30 pounds. A batch of Roasted red pepper, parmesan and basil Italian sausage, 30 pounds also. We won first place with this sausage in New Hampshire summer. I also cured 2 pork bellies and smoked them on apple wood for a brown sugar apple wood smoked bacon. There is also alder and apple smoked VT Cabot cheddar cheese, that I smoked. This is what is going out for my hand made presents this year. Oh yeah, a round loaf of eggnogg struesel coffee cake. I hope they are happy

I was going to send some via UPS overnight but it is like $36 for a 5 lb box to a destination 200 miles away. If you do send, you can put in Styrofoam with a cooler pack in there. The Styrofoam is a great insulator.

Been thinking of offering a BBQ Dinner for 4 "coupon" (redeemable after the Winter thaw). Bring the gear onsite (night before) and prepare for the meal fresh.

You could easily foodsaver some Q and deliver it via Omaha boxes with dry ice. I don't have anyone dying for me to ship them some Q, but I do give a bunch of Q out locally as gifts, Barber, Daycare, friends, etc.
