I look forward to the answer... I've always been partial to 'BBQ USA' (I think that's the right title)....

It seem to me most book on BBQ doesn't tell you alot . They all say about the same stuff. I can find all the information I need on this site . On here you get a lot of opinions which is good. As we all know we can do thing different way and still get a high quality product. So dont waste your money on that book . Buy some meat with it .

Honestly, I thought whatever version of the BBQ Bible I originally read wasn't worth buying. It is jam-packed with recipes, but I'm not so much into recipe tomes anymore. Had it been one of the first BBQ books I had seen, I may have liked it better. I probably won't even read the new edition.

Okay all I got a message back from the publisher about what is new in the 10th edition:

Hi Mark,
Thanks for a great question. The newly revised Barbecue Bible 10th Edition is full-color throughout, set up more like How to Grill, and there's a new chapter for frequently asked questions and tips to help prevent mistakes before they happen.

Have fun grilling!

The BBQ Bible I have is about 3 years old. I rely on it constantly for Q recipies that are inspired from world wide. If you want to enjoy global street Q that rocks, as well as good ole state side tradition ,then you will benifit from the bible. I consider Stevens books as my go resource for inspiring ideas ( I love the heat this guy weaves through his recipies and the Asain kick arse influence!). I consider him the mentor I've never met.

HyaaaaaYaaaa!

The BBQ Bible is more of a Grilling bible than Q.
It's still excellent and Raichlen knows Q.
The Legends of Texas Barbecue is perhaps the #1 BBQ book,
with Peace, Love and Barbecue as a close second.

All comes down to whether or not you're looking for a pile of recipes really. Raichlen definitely provides those in the BBQ Bible. I'v enever been much of one for recipes myself though. I like seeing them for inspiration, but that's about it. I prefer to do things my way, which sometimes sux.
