i wouldn't bother with a new door. it is what it is. a new one won't work any different.

it'll sure look cooler though.

Thanks for the link WWFB!

I'll have to snag the grommet kit too.

Where do you guys get the clip that holds your temp probe to the grate?

Congratulations. Just remember it's not how big it is, but how you use it.

There are 1/8 inch gaps on both sides of the door. I'd be stunned if they didn't leak.

Jim you have quite the arsenal there.

I see a ceramic cooker in my future.

Dave

I would love to just see one of the old originals

Ceramics brought a new dimension to my outdoor cooking. I was very patient and picked the large up for $300 and the medium up for $110, both on Craigslist. Just keep your eyes open.

The thin metal bends easy. You can deal it up pretty well.

Thanks OTH.

I'll use it tomorrow, but I'll probably get the SS door anyway.

Default New WSM 22.5....this thing is big.......

Thin weather strip on the door might do the trick.

Anybody try that before?

Got the clip for the probe from BBQ Guru when I ordered the DigiQ. I like it better than the potato I was using! LOL! Sometimes I run out of potatoes. You'll love the WSM.

Thanks Jeanie.

I'm dying to use it.

Going to try my first brisket tomorrow. Wish me luck.
