I was thinking about seasoning some ground beef with Bovine Bold for cheeseburgers. Has anyone done this? Opinions?

I agree with the above posters, grew up on Tony C's in hamburgers, have made the switch to Bovine Bold

Did you go to the one in Ft. Lauderdale on the 27th? I went to see him in Orlando on the 25th, then went to Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday so that my wife could visit with her brother before he left on a cruise the next day. I was tempted to go by and see if I could pick up some tickets to complete the "twofer"!

So I sprinkled the Bovine Bold on both sides of the hamburger patties and grilled them over charcoal. I couldn't really taste much spice, so I think I'll put some in the meat next time and then sprinkle on both sides as well.

Its very good to use when searing a roast, as well as Hamburgers.

I do not coat a burger, I mix the seasoning, whatever brand, right into the meat. You gotta remember that with burgers you have a natural transient for any flavor you want to add. It's called fat rendering! When the fat melts in the cooking process it carries the seasonings throughout the meat patty, ensuring even distribution of the flavors. Obviously you do not get a bark this way, but for me, in a burger, bark is not needed.
Now, having said all that, Bovine Bold is good no matter how you use it on beef and sausages, too!

Dude, we used it on popcorn last weekend - it would definitely work on burger patties!

I love it! I add it to almost everything sort of like seasoning salt..sometimes sparingly (b/c it has a slight heat-tad much for a 3 year old) but have never had one complaint.
