Then throw it on down! I haven't been up to getting in on these of late. But, sooner or later, I am gonna come storming back.

Pig Candy goin down on the grill

My wonderful wife and I made a number of things for the carnival. Mainly I stuck with classic good-for-you carnival food. I began my doubling up the stuff on some Oreos (Quadruple Stuff), and coating it with dough.

To abide by the rules and to keep things healthy, we cooked these in the Oval.

So how good did those Oreos come out?

And I know everyone loves Snickers bars.

I always do try to get a bit of meat at the carnival, so I did cook up some sausage

and wrapped it with candy floss, YUM!

Nothing like going to the Carnival to get a balanced meal:

It was all delicious.

I was lucky enough to get to the New York State Fair awhile back and the two most memorable things were the butter sculpture...

and the food. They had all the usual stuff , roast corn, candy cotton, candied apples and so much more! They had fried pizza dough, fried ravioli and cannoli! And that's just the stuff I tried! You have to pace yourself if you bring your kids to these things, and they want to go on the rides that turn you this way and that and inside out. But on the bright side you get to try more food...
Here is my carnival meal, grilled Italian sausage

And they must be topped with sauteed peppers and onions.

But instead of a bun, I'll wrap mine in pastry.

and top them with Parmesan cheese. I'll finish them up in my Oval (I did let someone else cook some dessert in there too).

and I put a stick in them, so they can be eaten with one hand, so you can drink your beer with the other.

and I'll also have some spicy tomato sauce for dipping.

Thanks for looking!

Seems like a permanent party at Gore and Ecode's house!

On a sad note... I might not post an entry for this one. I got a big few days coming up and a trip up to my parents place to help workin on their 5 acres. Since my Dad's operation, he's slowed down a whole lot, so I gotta go help. If I get a chance... I'll try and do something..

Cheers!

Bill

All I can do is add a MOINK BALL... I got home from my Mum and Dads farme 3 hours away just a few hours ago.

To be honest, it's not Carnival food in Australia... but it SHOULD BE!

You pick Chris.. not a real entry, but worth a shot.

Cheers!
