It is confusing.
I doubt that. I figured it meant photos. I think PICS would be more appropriate if that is the case. http://www.internetslang.com/PRON-meaning-definition.asp

What is Pron?
Years ago, several of our members were getting blocked from viewing this site from work. They were getting messages that it contained 'inappropiate content'. Back then, just as it is now, we had a lot of thread titles(and postings) that contained the work PORN when referring to 'food porn'. Corporate scanners were picking that up and labeling us as and Adult website. Search engines also use scoring systems to determine topic and content and the frequency of word use is part of that system. So, in order to avoid search engines, indexing bots and corporate scanners from misinterpereting our site and mislabeling us an adult site, we adopted the word 'pron' to replace the evil 'P" word in our thread tiles and posts.
I am not looking to change anything just think it is lame that is all.
On another note this site is awesome, and I am thankful to have it as a resource
I am dropping it whatever. Just use PRON lol

Please don't. Read BBQchef33's post above regarding the reason we use Pron.

Or the word PHOTO or PICS would solve the issue.
