Default Deconstructed Arancini

Had a couple spicy Italian sausages taking up freezer space, so I decided to get creative with them.

First thing is to get them out of their casing to get cooking.

Once it was cooked, it was out of the pan so I can get the onions caramelized

.

Add in the Risotto rice to give it a bit of a toasting before adding the chicken stock.

Continue to add chicken stock as the Risotto cooks, then in went some left over tomato sauce.

Continue cooking and when the Risotto was almost done, add back in the sausage.

Add in some grated Asiago cheese and stir before serving.

Plate and top with more Asiago cheese.

It was absolutely delicious. Turned out way better then I envisioned. Will definitely add this to the favorite recipes.

Thanks for looking.

Dean
