thanks for the comments guys.
that's home bbq rub, 260*-275* for 2 hours laying out in all its glory, and wrapped for an hour with some sugar, honey, and butter.
this rack was odd, 1 side was waaay thick, the other waaay thin. so 1 side was a little overdone and one not quite enough. but it still looked pretty nice and was quite tasty.
