From the last trade round Michael sent me some rub fro Doziers in Texas.
Ribs all rubbed up

Off the WSM

Time for some dinner

The rub had a very well balanced flavor, I noticed it is available online and will be a staple in the spice cabinet.

Looks great, and thanks for dragging up some great memories! When I was much younger Dozier's was out in the middle of nowhere - a BBQ/Meat Market with a C-store attached. On those rare Houston days when it was beautiful outside, taking a drive out to Fulshear in a convertible with the top down or on a motorcycle was a must-do on the weekends.

Order a full rack of cut spare ribs, grab a cold beer, and head to the picnic tables under the trees for the perfect spring day.

That whole area around Dozier's has grown out now, but I will always have memories of those perfect Spring days. (They never had awesome beef ribs like yours on the menu though!)
