From a small family ranch market in the 'hood. I usually get down but these folks have killer ranchera, chorizo, homemade sauces, tortillas, you name it. Only thing I did was the pico

Chorizo and ranchera on my retrofit griddle which I hadn't used in a long while

That's the way to do it! Gotta love those "hole in the wall" joints that just have the best stuff on the market.

I love everything about this... except that I didn't get any.

Yeah buddy!! I never, NEVER get tired of chorizo tacos. Grandma used to mix chorizo with refried beans. Would give my grandpa and I a big old bag of them before we left for a fishing trip and we'd eat those suckers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that day.

When you don't have the time to marinate meat, make salsas and tortillas from scratch, a good reliable Mexican market is the next best thing!


I like how you toast the burritos after you fold and stuff them - probably makes it easier to eat them as they hold together a bit better. I'll have to start doing that.
