When you buy the pork butts in the cryo pack with 2 butts per pack, how long do you let them thaw in the fridge? I'm guessing 5-6 days? Thanks in advance for the help.

somebody shut me the fark up.
I just had some like this, 15 lbs put them in the fridge on Tuesday morning and they were thawed by Friday night. I leaned them up at an angle so the air could move around them.
Three to four days normally in the fridge will do the trick.

Or you can do it in a 5 gallon bucket of icey water in about 8 hours. Add some ice every hour or two.

If you need to thaw them quick, place the cryovac pack in the kitchen sink full of cold water. Change the water every thirty minutes and they will be thawed in about 3 hours. I do this with turkeys as well.
