I cook solo, so I've always got some room for others.
2007 was my first season on the circuit. I mentored with Darcy Hicks(Ring of Fire) during 2006. I cooked seven comps in 07, and received at least one call in each comp. I had 3 top 3 place calls, and 4 calls from places 5-10. I have received calls in all categories. I became consistent enough by the end of the year that I was 10th overall in my last comp of the season. I have a minimalist philosophy. I have my setup honed, and can break down my camp in less than 20 minutes. I still have a lot to learn, but I could sure help someone who wants to get their feet wet get off to a good start. I'll probably do 4 to 6 comps this year due to an increased work load this year. I'm looking at Bixby or Claremore, Salisaw, Tulsa, Ponca City, and Jenks(if it happens). Depending how things go, maybe one or two more... PM me on this board if you'd like to come out...
