Look what came in the mail
I just got home from work and got a package from steph at simply marvelous. I have read a lot about how great there rubs are so I ordered the sample box. I usually make my own rubs and am excited to try some thing new. This weekend happens to be a great queing weekend. I am planning on doing 3 racks of baby backs and a 5 lb chuckie. Any great tips on what rub to use?

Now I know you don't need all of that for just a few racks and a chuckie, so let me PM my address to you ...

I got a bunch of Steph's rubs recently when I was "punked" by the brethren, and I'm enjoying them all. My favorites have to be his Cherry, Pecan, and Sweet Seduction. I prefer each one alone as opposed to layered. That's all I got for ya. Enjoy!

I actually like to use a 3 to 1 ratio of the Cherry (3) and the Spicy Apple (1) and use it on pork and chicken. Fantastic stuff IMO!!!

you are going to love 'em all. If I had to pick I would say the peppered cow, pecan, and spicy apple are my favs right now. I love that they don't taste too salty compared to most other rubs I have tried. And the flavor profiles of each seem to be more complex than many I have tried as well.
