Hey Brethren, I'll be in Dallas next week and need to feed the office at one of my clients. They are in Grand Prairie. Any suggestions for where to find some good Q?

Unfortunately, Dallas, while in Texas, is not an impressive place for BBQ.

Pecan Lodge has gotten a lotta buzz for good BBQ but i haven't been there myself. They are lunch hours only. Not sure about catering.

Looking at Lockhart Smokehouse, it appears to be a good choice for catering.

Red Hot & Blue is another place that comes to mind for catering.

Whatever you do, do not go with Dickeys, Springcreek or Coulters unless your budget is tight & you don't want to impress a client.

Just north of the airport (DFW) is a little community called Coppel where you can find "Hard Eight BBQ". Not the best I've ever eaten, but pretty dadgum good. Also just north of DFW is Grapevine, TX where you can find "Big Racks BBQ & Sports Grill". This place is definitely interesting (think Hooters on steroids) and it is the one place where I have found the absolute best pulled pork that I've ever put in my mouth (at a restaurant)!!! Having eaten barbecue at well over 400 restaurants, this statement is worthy of note!
Don't rightly know if either place caters, but I hope you have some good stuff!

I believe BigRacksBbq was active here as a Brethren a couple of years ago. He was from Grapevine.

If you are looking to have the food catered to your customer's location, there are surely some brethren in DFW who can hook you up.
