Here's a home-made version of the "pot-lifter" you can make with a quick visit to a local hardware store...
Two Cam buckle straps snugged up around the belly & one over the top (to keep the other two from slipping down) 4 pvc/rope handles placed at 11,1,5 and 7 o'clock... Couldn't have done it alone but with my buddy helping it lifted waaay easier than I thought... (of course, I removed the firebox & grates first...)
It's a little nerve-wracking lifting a fancy BBQ flowerpot into a table so I wanted to make sure I didn't break it in the process...
All told I spent $20 and saved my back for when I'm old and gray..
