I am new here and I love good food in general. I lived in Argentina for a while and learned how the make asado. I have been in love ever since. They only use hardwood or lump charcoal to cook. I miss being able to buy my meat as fresh as possible.

I am very interested in learning how to smoke my meat rather than grill it for some added variety. I do love a great brisket and some smoked turkey. I am looking forward to learn from you all and just maybe add something to your forum.

Welcome, come on in, take your shoes off and sit a spell

Welcome to our crazy little club house!

Welcome to the forum, had to find out what asado was, sounds interesting. When you do your next asado, please post some pictures.

I have never lived in such an area that has been so topographically or geologically diverse. Desert in the south and alpine in the north. If you get tired of one, go to the other in a few hours. If you have never been to Moab, it is absolutely amazing! Not the place for people who are not adventurous though. Definitely and outdoor playground.
