Default KC smoker from Tennessee who made a stop in Texas...

Hello from Kansas City. I'm new to the site. I was referred by a Kentucky buddy of mine (Lord help him, he's a UK grad). Great site - I'm basically a newbie but I've got a few smokes behind me. I started with a Brinkman Smoke and Grill, then had a generic offset horizontal, and just picked a Bandera for $60 off of craigslist. After a little renovation and some of the mods from this site, my first smoke is tomorrow on it. Have a Boston Butt and a brisket along with some stuffed jalapenos and roasted corn on the menu.

I look forward to reading and learning from all here, and thanks for having such a great site!
