Default I Love New Orleans Food

Shrimp Creole took a full 2 hours...the roux and Creole Sauce back left
was like 30+ minutes...
the rinsed shells and heads at left made the stock at right
nice and legit...
I rinse the heads if they are brown, if they are red inside,
it is fat and good, no rinse.

Next one not legit over Angel Hair pasta, but it was delicious -

That's called Louisiana Barbecued Shrimp, but you don't barbecue it, all in a pan.

That's the worst part of being in the Army. I sure do miss my Louisiana food. Getting the ingredients to re-create it is just plain hard depending on where we are stationed. Love the gulf shrimp too. Never had better tasting shrimp anywhere.... Nice cookin!!!
A lot of cooking apparatuses, but not quite enough!

Cajun cooking is my favorite kind. Partial to gumbo and fried shrimp. But I'd jump all over that.
