I'm planning to bring a stick burner with plenty of space if there isn't a burn ban. Might even get a fresh coat of paint on it by then to hide some of the ugly. Don't let Sheila's ugly fool ya' though, she cooks nice.

By the way Mr. Peeps you can move us to "confirmed". There is a possibility a friend of mine who owns a BBQ place in Colorado may be in town also and if so I'll let you know.

I've never had any trouble using a stick burner even with a ban as the fire is completely enclosed I guess that's something we'll have to double check!

Different story at home and in a state run facility I think. It is one thing for a neighbor to ignore you and another thing completely for a ranger to ignore you.

The vertical on my rig has a propane burner and a removable ash pan / coal basket also besides being able to run off the main firebox, I'm sure we can cook somehow.

We have two more door prizes. Tim Hutchins (Hutchins BBQ in McKinney) has donated a $25 gift card and a Hutchins t-shirt for the bash. If you need any more reason to visit this man's establishment (other than the fact that I always recommend it), now you know what kind of person Tim is. I asked him about it a couple of weeks ago, and he immediately replied with "no problem." When I emailed him the suggestion of the card and t-shirt, he simply said "remind me to give them to you when you come in for lunch." That simple.
