Hey Fellas

My name is Mike from Ellijay Ga. I ahm 4 years into this obsession. I live and breath grilling and smoking. I am defiantly a rookie but I am eager to learn. I began on a chargriller duo 50/50 that was purchased for me as a house warming gift. I then stole my fathernlaws oaklahoma Joe and recently finished modding it. Saving my pennies to upgrade to a Lang or Shirley. Doing my first competition on September 3. This one is for practice but hope to be a competitor in the next one. Proud father of 2 girls 1.5 and 4 years old and husband to a beautiful wife. I am a full time firefighter, I also work a K9 for a search and rescue team. Hope to learn a lot from you guys that have the experience.

Thanks for accepting me
