Default Freakin figures......

Last weekend and the weekend before, we competed. Spent much time going through the rib bin at Sams trying to find some good ones. Curved bones the first weekend and last weekend actually had some that were s shaped bones. The middle rack was very bloody and looked like the inside of a gunshot deer. Was not real happy with them. So, this weekend I was going to do a brisket in the driveway just to play around with some different spices, and to have some lunch sandwiches. My son asks me to pick up some ribs to eat as well. So I go by the rib bin and justg grab a pack w/o even looking them over. So of course, these were clean, not much fat, bones straight as an arrow on all 3 racks........ just my luck....

For comps I go back daily for a week or so to find the best package, it's usually the one I found on the first trip. Then, like you said, just screwing around and you get a rack that would be perfect. Ticks me off too.
