Ok so it's not a traditional BBQ item but I'm often non traditional. I like to wing it sometimes. I sprinkled dry rub on the SPAM and cooked it for 1hr. I used cherry wood chips (I forgot how good cherry is). The finished slices were placed on Pepperidge Farm sweet slider buns and topped with sliced onion, jalapeno, and store brand bbq sauce. Easy and they were great. Mid week dinner crisis averted.

Whoa...didnt know such a thing as jalapeno Spam existed. I'll take one of those without the onions please.

Jalapeño Spam you say? Count me intrigued. Will have to look for it at the local store.

If you have an Asian grocer near you, get the premium grade luncheon meat made with only pork. $5 a can when it's 100% pork. You get that filler crap like Spam and it's maybe 50% pork.

Transcendent, I tell you!!!

Ok, I love spam but never felt any interest in the jalapeno flavored one. Now I do. Awesome thinking.

Damn, we love our SPAM here at the Brisket Home. I toss it cubed into spaghetti, make spam grilled cheese, with eggs, hash like with potatoes, but dang that slider looks good!

I'd hit that hard and twice on a Sunday! Nice job!

BTW, it gets us through those weekday dinner situations too. LoL!
