Default weber does it again !

was looking at some german sites and i noticed something.
the rotisserie ring is built differant for the german market. the ring
has a ring formed on the bottom to seal better on the kettle !

you will have to look carfully but you will see it.
weber can just tick me off to no end at times.

Nothing beats German engendering. Except for the boys at backwoods.

Looks like they tried to copy the Cajun Bandit rotisserie.

Went to the German site and saw that at least on their picture, it does not use a same bar and counterweight we have. Not sure about you, but I sure like the wooden handle.

It's price of 159 Euros equals 205.19 US Dollars.
The US version goes for $149.99 list.
Maybe they feel the European version will not sell here due to the Cajun Bandit.

i'm basically talking about the design. being sold in germany, of course its going to be
220 volt. not being sold in the u.s., i could only get picks of the german one.
again, i'm only talking about the ring design.

You ought to try being in a fledgling business making handles for Webers or BGE's when every couple years they just come out with a bracket change. Turns my little world upside down :(
