Class reunion pulled pork + PRON

I've been getting ready for a class reunion next weekend, and volunteered to bring some pulled pork. Since I've never created a 'photo chronology' of a pulled pork cook I thought I would give it a go. When the Mrs. told me it was "dorky" that was all the incentive I needed. :heh:

Great looking cook there. I love chronological pics. (I don't think any of your classmates will be bringing up how great the cafeteria was) ;)

Food looks great, my reunion had really crappy hotel finger foods as the offering.

There is a fella on YOUTUBE who has a nice video of a turkey smoking in a WSM.
His wife pokes her head in the video, and makes a comment about her husband
being the biggest dork for taping the process. By chance, are you that same
poor and picked upon husband???:shock::evil:

If you are.. that was a good video..
If it was me, I'd ask her to leave ya alone when you
are creating your ART! :-D:cool:

I'm not that guy - though wish I was!
68 in my high school class, maybe 30 show up. We'll see.

all right ModelMaker - We might not agree about colleges, but we can agree that there's no better way to make friends at a tailgate then to fire up the smoker in the early morning for a pm game.

And for the record, I'm not a Hawkeye hater. Just when they're playing each other.

There's no way you can go wrong with PP & a class reunion. It's definitely a crowd pleaser!! And, BTW, to you Cyclone & Hawkeye fans...

The injection is a spin off of Chris Lilly's pork butt injection. mainly water, apple juice, sugar, salt, Worcestershire.

Until i can get a homemade rub exactly where I want it, for Pork Butt's it's Plowboys Yardbird. Let it sit over night.

And that's about it. I try to stay 200 to 225 for the first couple hours then around 240 for the rest of the cook. I don't foil.

When I warm it up, I add a mixture of 4 parts apple juice, 1 part apple cider vinegar (not much of this - just that a little extra moisture helps when sitting in a roaster or crock pot for hours on end).

Being a cyclone fan... I won't miss you:p, but not really looking forward to OK, TX, TX Tech, and A&M every year. Good luck with the Hawkeye's. From Kearney, huh? Long story that I won't bore you with, but I spent a week there one night.
