The 4th annual Georgia Great Steak Cook-Off will be held Saturday March 6, 2010 in Hazlehurst, GA. Last year 20 teams competed for the $1,000 grand prize and a very nice, unique trophy. Once again this year, the Grand Champion takes home $1,000. Cash prizes & trophies are also awarded for runnersup along with the best grill construction.
The competition provides all the steaks -- 1" thick, 16 oz ribeyes, so everyone cooks the same cut of meat. You provide the grill & the skills.
The deadline to enter is Feb 19, 2010. The entry form can be downloaded from www.georgiagreatsteakcookoff.com or you can have one faxed to you by calling (912) 375-4543. Complete rules are also available on the website.
