Default Yoder 1500 on it's way!!

Jumped in with both Monday...ordered a 1500. Lead time is 7 weeks. Now it's just a waiting game. I never used pellet grill before so it's going to be learning experience!!

Congrats on the new cooker! I don't think there is much of a learning curve which is part of the attraction. Plug it in like an electric but you get more smoke flavor.

The 1500 is a rock star! You will love it!

There is a learning curve, and it revolves around keeping it well maintained, learning that it takes a minute to heat up that big hunk of steel, and figuring out your hot spots (RE: top rack versus bottom and left to right). It is definitely one of the smokers that I regret selling...

Welcome to the club. You'll pick up the how's and what's of pellet cooking quickly.

Congrats! Such an awesome smoker. There is a bit of a learning curve. Took me a little while to get the smoke flavor I like, but thanks to nucornhusker's advice and recommendations I got it all figured out pretty fast.
