First cook on My new BGE

I fired it up for the first time tonight!
Made twice Egg'ed spuds, BBQ chicken wangs and chicken breasts for the wife.
The grub was awesome!
I shouldnt have waited so long to get an Egg!!

Nope. I had stuff I had to do during the day. I picked it up after the Egg Fest was over. Tonight was the first time that I ever cooked on an Egg.:-D

Im going to have to order a "Rig" soon!
It would have been nice to have a second layer to indirectly melt the cheese on the spuds.
 
You are ruined now Matt... you won't cook in the house again....

Hey Matt nice looking grub there, and congrats on the maiden egg voyage, but does that mean you're going to leave the drummin family? ahh

No way!!

Its hard to beat butts and brisket smoked in the BDS!
And ribs, chicken and anything else for that matter! :lol:

The Egg is an addition not a replacement!
Theres enough Qin' going on at My house for them both to get a workout!
 
I had to eat 2 spuds so I had a few wings left over for lunch at work tomorrow!
Otherwise I would have eaten them all! :shock:

I might need to drive around town this weekend with the windows down :)
 
You'll wonder how you've got by without one after you cook 10 different ways on it. Get a BGE pizza stone if you don't have one and start playing.
