Its screaming hot here in holland. So its time for ice cream, but when your a pitmaster you will have to make it on the Q

That's a great idea. I'm assuming the heat from the fire turns the ice cream into a liquid inside the lemon? Gonna have to try this soon

No, the point is to not melt the ice cream. Like baked Alaska.

I don't understand the point.

You're not going to get any flavor in 3-4 min.
You risk melting the ice cream.

You're better off using a torch and skipping the Q

Does it really need to make sence, or can we just put anything we like on the grill. I think its just fun to throw some ice cream on the grill and suprise your guests.

I don't mind it not having any smoke flavour, but ofcoarse there is always room for improvement.

Using a blow tourch is not a great idea, it will probably burn your merengue and tis way its gets a little browning and crisp.
