Bratwust burgers on the Stok grates
So i fired up the OTG with the Stok grates installed, to see how they worked. I did Bratwurst burgers again as we really like them I bought the Stok grates at Cabela's. I used Stubbs natural briquets for the first time, i like them they get HOT!! I started not even a full chimney and once going i put them in the baskets and closed the lid. I came out with the food and the lid thermo was over 500deg this was with all the vents open, closed the bottom vent to about 1/2 open. Ok enough chitchat and onto the pictures, sorry no plated pictures

They had a good size display with grates and inserts for the middle of the grate.

I just bought some o' those brat burgers. I see them in my futures as work day lunches right after the Petit Jean Bologna runs out in a couple of days.

Ron, I am partial to brat burgers myself. First time I had them was when me and my KA sausage stuffer wasn't seeing eye to eye on how to do things and the KA won out. It is a shame when ya get beat by a machine.. Nice looking grill though.

I have never cooked a brat burger. Do you buy the meat or mix it yourself?

I grind my own meat, then season it. To me, it tastes better than anything you can buy.
