Default Breakfast on the old woodburner

I couldn't decide if I wanted chickenfried steak or biscuits and gravy so I made both.

heated up some skillets...
Tried out a new light weight cast iron skillet.

made biscuit dough...

hand formed some large biscuits and fried them in butter, moved the skillet to the low heat side of the cooker so the biscuits would rise while cooking.

seasoned some tenderized steaks, floured and fried...

made skillet gravy with the steak drippings...

fried a few eggs in butter...

topped a biscuit with a chickenfried steak...

then skillet gravy...

a couple of eggs...and called it good.

Not sure if I was just hungry or what, but it tasted pretty good at the time.

(and there was no way I could eat the whole thing)

Thanks for looking!
