Just bid a wedding for 125 peeps. 2 prices...1 for buffet (with line servers) and 1 for full service sit down meal.

3 appetizers
salad
Brisket & chicken breast
2 sides

$26/head for buffet
$35/head for full service

This is only my second time bidding a wedding. The request for sit down service really threw me for a loop. Wanted to see if I was being reasonable or am I way off? Always a learning experience for me :icon_blush:
 
as you know pat, i don't know squat. good luck on the bid. if you get it, they'll be getting some good q!

I would be a couple bucks less on the buffet, but higher on the service. We pay our servers $20 / hr and sell their time for $40.

Wow I am way off on the servers then. I used $15/hr. This is why I need your class Jeff :becky::pray:
 
I'd be $19-$20 on the buffet. Higher if they want real plates & utensils.

I was figuring $19 per for the buffet plus I added for the 3 appetizers and then some for servers to get to the $26.

I would be $31.99 on the buffet per; $43.99 on plated
keep in mind chit is higher out here.
