Default Show your BBQ Area

I am moving my BBQ area from my front porch and looking for some ideas.

Wife was fine with a gasser, then a 18" WSM. Then I added a 22" WSM, large BGE on table, 2' X 3' X 6' vertical and a meadow creek 26 chicken cooker. Needless to say no chance putting the TS120 up there LOL

I have a nice large paved driveway and going to build some sort of shelter for my BBQ stuff.

Hoping to get some ideas from you guys, please post some pics regardless of size or how simple it is.

Thanks

Are you wanting a BBQ area on your front drive??
Intersting.

Most folks have their area to the side or rear of the home for privacy and security.

I kind of like the front porch, especially in the winter!

In the summer, I move to the backyard patio, but I leave the BGE on the porch for rainy days.

Our drive way is long and behind the house. We come in through the back basement door

Keep the Lang 'round back so that I have this view:

When it floods:

During the winter:

And in about 30 minutes:

However, right now:

Tiny house with almost no closets, but frankly it doesn't suck!

I sure am seeing a lot of those BGE's

Keep the pics coming guys, this is great seeing where everyone cooks.
Still no redneck pics, figured we would really see some good stuff mixed in with these.

The pontoon is fairly simple and rigged for long runs of the "keep it simple" type. When we go for an all-dayer we just pack the coolers tight with drinks and seems that pimento cheese sandwiches & potato chips rule... Simple...

The 150hp Mercury on the back gets us there n back fairly fast though. Before the tri-toons came out it was the fastest pontoon on the lake... We call her Mammy (from Gone With the Wind) because she's large (25') and comfortable and takes care of us... Then we got the scarlet red Mastercraft, so of course as she's sassy and a pain in the butt, we call her... You guessed it, Scarlet.

It actually does make it tough to have people over when barbecuing because there's the temptation of going out there and losing all focus... Ah well, it's tough.

Seriously, in 2005 the now ex-wife said "I think I want a divorce". I asked her a few times to reconsider, she said no, so I looked her in the eye and said "ok, the lake house is mine". That was that. I moved out a few weeks later to the lake. I miss the restaurants of the metro-Atlanta area, but I dont miss Atlanta at all. And we I do think I miss it just a tiny amount I'll sit on the back porch about sunset time with a glass of single malt scotch and relax. That feeling goes away, FAST.

I've threatened a few times to paint a sign for the lake-side that says "This doesn't SUCK"

Here's a little picture of friends having fun in Scarlet and what we do when we're not barbecuing:

My wife having a tough afternoon (a Wednesday after work if I recall correctly):

Finally, the team inspiration (name; Lake Dogs) and mascot, Hannah:
