Recommendation for Online Wood Purchase
Hey Brethren please weigh in on a recommended online site to purchase wood. I'm from NYC and unfortunately I have to shop online for my wood. I use a BWS extended party so I need to purchase chunks.
Thanks |

Here is a recent thread...
http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=152726 I recommend Fruita Wood Chunks. Good people, excellent quality and free shipping. BTW, there is a Google search box near the bottom of the page that searches just this site.

Another vote here for Fruita. Best wood and customer service out there IMHO.

Fruita is excellent as is smokinlicious. Smokinlicious doesn't have the variety of Fruita but their pieces come bark free (if that matters) and are cut to be uniform in size and shape. Fruita seems more reasonably priced.

I've used a lot of wood vendors, all good, it really depends on what wood you want. Smokinlicious is amazing in that they ship a note telling you what the humidity of the wood was when it was packaged.

Check out Do it best hardware. If you have it delivered to the store and pick it up there is no fee. Also check out mojo bricks- you would probably want the Qubes
